Young Chef is now in its 15th year and is open to any student attending a secondary school in Reading and Wokingham.

Students will be competing with other schools in the area and will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and cooking skills in front of local professional chefs.

This year’s rules are:

• All ingredients must be grown in the UK
• The main course must contain unprocessed red meat and sweet potato
• The dessert must contribute to one of our 5 a day of fruit and vegetables
